Announcing the first sponsors of the 2016 Festival!

It’s not long to go until the Perth Games Festival hits, giving you the chance to play tons of locally made games for free! But how does such a big event happen, and all for free no less?! Well, it is in no small part thanks to the contribution of our sponsors; local folks and businesses who step up to support the creative game-making community of Western Australia.

So take a moment with us to give some love to the businesses who have joined us to make the Perth Games Festival possible 💖

First up, a big thank you to local game-makers Binary Space.
They were super quick to raise their hand, to return as a Gold Sponsor again in 2016:

Binary SpaceBinary Space - Zombie Outbreak Simulator

Binary Space is an indie game developer, developing the games Class 3 Outbreak and Zombie Outbreak Simulator, which feature a zombie apocalypse played out in real locations on maps. The web versions of these games have been played over 4 million times since they were first released in 2009 to 2011. The iOS and Android versions of Zombie Outbreak Simulator released in 2012 and 2014 have been downloaded by over 1 million people!

This year we have also had a number businesses joining us as Silver Sponsors, and we greatly appreciate their support. These folks are just as excited as we are to show off what the WA community has to offer, so give them some love!

There is local studio Pale Blue Dot Games, who have stepped up to assist their fellow game-makers…

Pale Blue Dot Games - Silver Sponsor
