PGF 2018 Call for Exhibitors!

We’re coming up fast on the end of the year, so we’re happy to announce that applications to exhibit at PGF 2018 are now open!

  • When: Saturday the 24th of November.
  • Where: Perth Town Hall.
  • Why: To play and showcase your games with the public!

Now we’re doing something a little different this year, we have both regular exhibitors and a playtest area.  If you’re a business, established developer or otherwise we’re now simplifying the booths to be  with a table, backing boards and a A0 poster to help showcase your games in the best possible light!  If you’re a student or hobbyist we now have a playtesting area, while you have less space, it’s much cheaper!  Especially if you’re just starting out and want to get involved.

If you’re interested in helping out the festival financially or joining BadgeQuest, we now have a variety of sponsorship options for developers who would like to do so!  Just fill out the form and our sponsorship coordinator will be in touch!

And as always, Let’s Make Games wants to help people participate in the festival, if you would like financial assistance to be a part of the showcase send an email through to

So in summary…

  • If you would like to be a regular exhibitor, click here!
  • If you would like to join the playtest area, click here!

The application deadline is October 26th, and the payment deadline is November 9th.

Thank you again for your interest, and we look forward to seeing you at the festival this year!

Paul (Logistics and Exhibitor Coordinator)

We Need You!

Hello Everyone,

This is a call out for additional people to be assisting us with this year’s Perth Games Festival on the committee.  The festival’s showcase day will be on the 25th of November at the Perth Town Hall but we have events surrounding that day.

If you are unsure and do not have the experience, we are willing to work with you to show you what needs to be done.  You just need to have spare time on a regular basis leading up to the event.

We are in need of people in the following areas;

Sponsorship Officer

In charge of speaking with potential sponsors, finding sponsorship opportunities and ensuring PGF is implementing the sponsorship correctly.

Marketing Manager

Does working with graphic designers, advertising distributors, media sources and facebook sound up your alley? We need someone willing to help design and wrangle our marketing program.

Volunteer Coordinator

We need someone wanting to help handle the masses of awesome people who help us out each year.  Make sure the volunteers are well informed, fed and looked after for any of the events we run.

If you’re interested drop a line to

p.s: pictured are the amazing Jess and Cassie, our Festival Coordinator and Exhibitor Wrangler for 2016.

And we Return for 2017

It’s been a slow road to preparing the 2017 Perth Game Festival, but now thanks to the City of Perth, we’re happy to announce that we will be back at the Perth Town Hall and Perth Library on…

2017 Perth Games Festival
Saturday, November 25th

Last year’s event was rather intense with fantastic local developers like; Stirfire on stage demonstrating Symphony of the Machine; Outback Pixels packing them in with Thwart Geo, Sentient Computing letting us peek at their serious VR and students from all over showing their amazing games.

Now we’re back and working to make this year amazing.  We’ve got a bunch of exciting things lined up already but we can’t talk about that yet. The weather should be better this year enabling us to do more things outside.  Also there’s no sportsball finals scheduled to coincide, let alone two like last year 😉

So what do you need to know?

Are you a game playing enthusiast?  You can jump on our facebook event right now and be reminded when we get closer to the event!

Are you a game developer or organisation who would like to showcase or be involved with the festival?  Fill out the Expression of Interest form here and we’ll be in contact.

Finally, are you someone who would like to help out the community?  We always need people to help us run this year’s event.  You can ping us at to join our team.

Thanks again for your continued support and watch this space as we organise this year’s festival. It’s going to be a blast!

How to Design a Powerful Landing Page

Alienum phaedrum torquatos nec eu, vis detraxit periculis ex, nihil expetendis in mei. Mei an pericula euripidis, hinc partem ei est. Eos ei nisl graecis, vix aperiri consequat an.

Do not take life too seriously

We develop strategies, create content, build products, launch campaigns, design systems and then some — all to inspire the people our brands care about most.

Since our inception, we’ve produced cutting-edge creative for Fortune 500 companies like Viacom (Nickelodeon), Panasonic and Lennar with a portfolio spanning industries including tech, healthcare, financial, retail, residential, education and the nonprofit sector.

Guess what, we’re back and not a moment too soon!

After a successful festival in 2015 with a massive turnout of visitors (somehow 2500 people!) the amazing CoderDojo awards and the support of many great people and businesses in Perth and Australia, we here at Let’s Make Games were absolutely blown away. Having Amani Naseem over from Melbourne to run the Whistler (with thanks to FTI), seeing the launch of Nekograms, checking out all the amazing games from up and coming developers from all walks of life and watching Ludicrous Cogz being played by all ages made for an amazing day.

So we’re doing it again!

With thanks to the City of Perth and the Perth Town Hall for allowing us to return, we would like to officially announce the…
